Laser Hair Removal
The most technologically advanced and multifunctional Fotona4D neodymium-yag laser efficiently eliminates both dark and light hair of any skin colour. The only exception is hair without pigment, completely white or grey. The Nd-YAG Fotona Dynamis SP laser is monochromatic (constant wavelength), the device operates in a unidirectional (the beam does not disperse) and selectively, which ensures the highest safety without the risk of tissue damage. After the treatment, the hair becomes weaker, then dies off and falls out after 2 to 3 weeks. It should be remembered that laser devices are effective only in the permanent removal of hair in the active growth phase (anagen), i.e. when the hair is richly vascularised and melanocytes produce melanin. Laser hair removal treatments require a series of at least 4-6 repetitions, because some of the hair is always in different phases and the dormant periods vary in duration.
Pre-Procedure Guidelines.
1. Avoid Tanning: Refrain from tanning the skin for at least two weeks prior to the treatment.
2. No Epilation: Do not use wax, tweezers, or epilators on the treatment area for one month before the procedure.
3. Discontinue Retinol and Fruit Acid Creams: Cease using retinol and creams containing fruit acids on the treatment area at least one month before the procedure.
4. Stop Photosensitising Medications and Herbs: Discontinue any photosensitising medications and herbs two weeks before the procedure. These can be resumed two weeks after the treatment.
5. Avoid Depilatory Creams: Do not use depilatory creams on the treatment area for one week before the procedure.
6. No Exfoliation: Avoid exfoliating the skin with peels or exfoliating creams one week before the procedure.
7. No Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol on the day of the procedure.
8. Clean and Shave: Ensure the treatment area is clean and shaved on the day of the procedure.

After Procedure
We recommend cold compresses after epilation, especially if redness or swelling appears. There is no need to worry, most often this symptom disappears after a few hours. Cosmetics can be used one day after the treatment. It is worth using, for example, soothing creams with allantoin, We do not use hot baths and saunas for 14 days. For a month we do not take medications, herbs and we do not use photosensitising creams. We do not expose epilated skin to the sun for a month and we protect ourselves with UV creams.
